This is the first section of fells, which I started on 17th June 2015. It includes the area to the north of Ambleside between Thirlmere in the west and Ullswater in the east and contains the Helvellyn and Fairfield groups. The area includes 35 Wainwrights and is 19km from Nab Scar in the south to Great Mell Fell in the north.

The section was completed on 26th July 2016 with an ascent of Seat Sandal.
